Phytosterols
Lower Cholesterol Levels!
Phytosterols are plant structures
similar to cholesterol. Phytosterols imitate cholesterol in your small intestine. This means lower
cholesterol levels enter your bloodstream and the phytosterols exit your body as waste. Do not eat burgers and pizza
all day when consuming phytosterols and expect lower cholesterol
levels. A healthy diet is essential! But for people trying
to lower cholesterol levels with proper diet who are not achieving the
lower cholesterol levels desired, phytosterols can do its part by
removing excess cholesterol from your system.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids
Maintain Lower Triglyceride Levels!
Omega 3 Fatty Acids, unlike saturated
fats, are the good fats you hear about. Most people do not get
enough Omega 3 Fatty Acids in their diet. Among other benefits,
Omega 3 Fatty Acids promote lower triglyceride levels, which can
further enhance your cardiovascular health. Triglycerides are a
type of blood fat that can cause huge health concerns if lower levels
are not maintained. Every daily dose of phytosterols with omega 3 fatty acids contains
fish oil from non-predatory fish which has
eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
In addition to lower triglyceride levels, studies have linked long chain
omega 3 fatty acids with improved mental health, joint health and the
delivery of phytosterols. Combined, phytosterols and omega 3 fatty
acids are a powerful supplement.*

Phytosterols Shown To
Lower Cholesterol Levels: A recent study led by Sridevi
Devaran of the University of California Davis Medical Center
confirmed that phytosterols lower cholesterol levels.
Volunteers who took phytosterols experienced 7.2% lower
cholesterol overall, and a 12.4% lower cholesterol in LDL
(bad) cholesterol compared to the base-line group that did
not consume phytosterols. According to Devaraj,
consuming phytosterols "is an easy and effective way to
boost a diet's LDL (bad) cholesterol-fighting power . . .
without increasing saturated fat." The study
concluded that phytosterols are a "healthy and
attractive alternative" [ that can lower cholesterol
levels].

Omega 3 Fatty Acids
Help Lower Cholesterol Levels & Show Link To Mental Health:
For years, researchers have shown a link between the
consumption of omega-3 fatty acids and lower
triglyceride levels.
We now know phytosterols and omega 3 fatty acids combined
are a powerful supplement.* Recently, Dr. Joseph R. Hibbeln of the
National Institutes of Health and other scientists found that
occurrence of bipolar disorder was lower for those who
consumed approximately one pound of seafood a week.
Omega 3 fatty acids are found in significant levels in
seafood. Other recent studies have found a lower
incidence of Alzheimer's disease in elderly men and women who
ate fish three times a week. Omega 3 fatty acids have
also been linked to lower risk of depression. Source:
